The musical highlight

On 24 November 2026, Cecilia Bartoli and Lang Lang will share the stage at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

The programme spans the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, combining songs and arias by Handel, Haydn and Schubert with works by Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Bizet, Puccini and Debussy.

The Palau de la Música Catalana was designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner.

The concert hall is characterised by coloured glass, ceramics, sculptures and the large glass dome above the auditorium.

The Palau has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.

Barcelona has a long tradition of crafting classical Spanish guitars.

In a small workshop, you’ll gain a personal insight into the traditional art of Spanish guitar-making and see how a classical guitar is handcrafted. You’ll hear the instrument played during a short musical demonstration right there in the workshop.
