Baloise Session 2026 in Basel

The Baloise Session brings international stars to Basel and presents them in a setting rarely experienced with artists of this calibre.

The audience sits at small club tables by candlelight, close to the stage, while the venue is deliberately intimate.

In 2026, the festival celebrates its 41st edition. Across ten concert evenings, 18 acts will take to the stage, including Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Rick Astley, Erykah Badu, James Arthur, Calum Scott, Joe Bonamassa, Mark Forster, Natasha Bedingfield and Stephan Eicher.

Each evening brings together two acts whose music complements one another stylistically or atmospherically.

The result is a carefully curated concert evening in the distinctive club atmosphere for which the Baloise Session is known.

The city on the Rhine has one of Switzerland’s most impressive museum landscapes.

Kunstmuseum Basel is located in the heart of the city, while Fondation Beyeler in nearby Riehen combines an internationally renowned art collection with architecture by Renzo Piano.

There is also time to explore Basel’s Old Town or take a walk along the Rhine. The Event Halle at Messe Basel is centrally located and easily reached from the city centre.
