The auditorium was closed for more than four years.
Extensive renovation work at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna began in December 2022. On 14 February 2027, the opera house will reopen at its historic location in the centre of Bologna.
On 1 March 2027, you will hear pianist Arsenii Moon with Ensemble Colloredo at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni.
The concert forms part of the anniversary season of Musica Insieme, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026/27.
On 2 March 2027, the highlight of the trip follows at the reopened Teatro Comunale di Bologna: Claudio Monteverdi’s ‘Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria’ under the musical direction of Fabio Biondi.
It is the first opera to be performed at the historic Teatro Comunale following its reopening.
The performance takes place in the historic Sala Bibiena.

Palazzo del Podestà, you will find Bologna’s whispering gallery. Speak quietly into one corner and your voice can be heard in the opposite one.

For one evening during your stay, we will reserve a table for you at Cantina Bentivoglio.
Jazz has been performed here regularly since 1987, in a room set within the Renaissance cellars of Palazzo Bentivoglio.
Cantina Bentivoglio is also a restaurant. Before or during the concert, you can enjoy dinner with regional cuisine and a wide selection of wines.
