Der Freischütz on the lake stage: summer nights on Lake Constance
This summer, the spectacular lake stage at the Bregenz Festival will present a highlight of German Romanticism: Der Freischütz by Carl Maria von Weber. The festival takes place from 16 July to 17 August 2025.
Experience the dramatic story of love, fate and dark forces in a visually and musically stunning production in the open air, with Lake Constance as the backdrop.
You will be staying at the Hotel kleiner Löwe, in the centre of Bregenz on Kornmarktplatz. Your room ‘Über dem Platz’ offers a marvellous view of the action in the old town and is just a few minutes' walk from the Seebühne - charming, central and personally managed.
