The musical highlight
Andreas Scholl is one of the most renowned countertenors of our time. At the 2026 Copenhagen Opera Festival, he will be performing “Musical Storytelling with Bach” at the Glass Hall Theatre in Tivoli.
The programme combines works by Johann Sebastian Bach with traditional English folk songs. Andreas Scholl will be accompanied by Tamar Halperin on piano and harpsichord.
The Glass Hall Theatre is located in Tivoli, the historic amusement and cultural park in the heart of Copenhagen.
This venue has been part of the city’s cultural identity since the 19th century.
