The musical highlight

An 8-day Danube cruise from and to Vienna aboard the AMADEUS Star from 23 to 30 October 2026. During the day, you will discover places along the Danube, including Budapest, Melk Abbey, Linz and Vienna, and in the evening, nine live concerts await you on board as part of the Vienna Smooth Jazz Festival.

Among the star guests is Eric Darius from the USA, a saxophonist who was already touring internationally as a teenager and later performed on stage with artists such as Prince, Mary J. Blige, George Benson, Carlos Santana and Marcus Miller.

Peter White, born in England and at home in the USA for many years. After two decades alongside Al Stewart, he has established himself as a solo artist since 1990 and released more than 14 albums.

Vincent Ingala combines saxophone and guitar and is known not only for playing his pieces, but also for often writing and producing them himself. His album ‘Can't Stop Now’ earned him several Billboard successes, including a number one hit.

The line-up is complemented by Pieces of a Dream, founded in Philadelphia in 1976, musically between jazz, R&B, funk and smooth jazz, with 22 studio albums to date.

About the AMADEUS Star

The AMADEUS Star is a premium ship in the AMADEUS fleet and was launched in 2019. Spread over four decks, it offers 12 suites and 70 spacious cabins. The suites have a walk-in balcony, the cabins on the Mozart and Strauss decks have lowerable panoramic windows, and on the Haydn deck you can enjoy the view through a panoramic window.

The cabins are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, a minibar, a safe and an infotainment system with flat-screen TV. The Panorama Restaurant is the culinary centrepiece on board. In addition, there is the Panorama Bar for the evening, the River Terrace at the very front of the bow and the sun deck. Massage services and a fitness room are available for relaxation.
