Luxury Mediterranean cruise with Dubrovnik Summer Festival
From Athens (Piraeus) to Fusina (near Venice) on Silversea's Silver Nova from 14 to 24 August 2027
The Silversea cruise connects the Cyclades and the Peloponnese with the Adriatic coast and ends in Venice. It starts in Athens (Piraeus) and ends in Fusina, the pier on the mainland outside Venice.
The musical highlight
The Dubrovnik Summer Festival traditionally runs from mid-July to the end of August and uses the old town as its stage.
You sit in courtyards, squares and fortresses within the city walls. The courtyard of the Rector's Palace is a very atmospheric venue for classical concerts.
The Lovrijenac Fortress, an open-air venue above the sea with a special atmosphere, is often used for theatre and large summer evenings.
Important for your trip: We organise participation in local music events individually for each guest, for example for an evening at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival and, on request, for other cultural moments along the route, tailored to your wishes and the layovers.

About the ship: Silver Nova
The Silver Nova is a modern luxury ship in the Silversea fleet, built in 2023, with space for up to 728 guests and 544 crew members.
I have been on board the Silver Nova myself. The atmosphere is pleasantly informal, with lots of light, expansive views and several areas where you can sit and relax without feeling cramped.
You will feel right at home on board.
My personal recommendation is S.A.L.T. Kitchen. The restaurant's menu is based on the destinations along your route, with a constantly changing selection of regional specialities. These are accompanied by a matching selection of regional wines, making an evening there feel almost like a mini shore excursion.
Your suite on board
On the Silver Nova, you will stay in suites ranging from Veranda Suites to the larger categories.
You can enquire about all suite categories with us, but for this trip we are presenting two veranda categories as examples:
the Classic Veranda Suite and the Deluxe Veranda Suite. Both are identical in terms of layout and size, but differ mainly in their location on board.
Classic Veranda Suite and Deluxe Veranda Suite

The Classic Veranda Suite and Deluxe Veranda Suite offer plenty of natural light and a modern look that is more reminiscent of an elegant hotel room than a classic ship's cabin. The veranda is a beautiful, private outdoor space directly in front of floor-to-ceiling glass doors, ideal for your first coffee in the morning or a drink in the late afternoon as the ship sets sail.
The suite features a sitting area and a bed that can be configured as a queen-size bed or two single beds. The bathroom has a large vanity with two faucets and a separate shower; some suites also have a bathtub. The walk-in wardrobe with safe is practical for longer trips, and there is also a dressing table and desk. The amenities also include a large flat-screen TV, an espresso machine and a kettle for tea.
All suites include butler service, Wi-Fi, a bar stocked according to your preferences in the suite refrigerator and champagne on arrival.
