The musical highlight
A solo evening in the Small Hall of the Elbphilharmonie:
On 19 February 2026, Maria Baptist will present her programme ‘The Solo Works’, bringing together current compositions with central works from her repertoire, including the cycle ‘Hopes & Fears’, which was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.
The Small Hall follows the classic ‘shoebox’ principle and can accommodate up to around 550 visitors, making it ideal for chamber music, jazz and solo recitals.

In front of the entrance to the Plaza, the Elbphilharmonie's public viewing platform, there are cafés and small bars; from there, it is only a few steps to the Small Hall.
Those arriving in the afternoon can stroll from Baumwall along the quayside to HafenCity and enjoy a coffee with a view of the Fleete,
the narrow, tide-dependent canals of the Speicherstadt.

From here, you can reach the Elbphilharmonie by taxi in about 10 to 15 minutes; alternatively, we recommend taking harbour ferries 61/62 to Landungsbrücken and continuing on to the Elbphilharmonie – a lovely start to the concert, taking around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the transfer.
