Milan - Italy

Vogue World: Milano on 22 September 2026

& La Traviata at the Teatro alla Scala

The highlight

Milan, late September. Autumn Fashion Week opens its doors, and something is happening for the first time in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II: Vogue World: Milano.
Vogue World combines fashion with live performance and music under one of Europe's most famous glass roofs.
Roberto Bolle, Italy's most famous ballet star and principal dancer at La Scala in Milan, is part of this unique event.
Further details about the programme will be announced later this year.
At the same time, Giuseppe Verdi's opera La Traviata will be performed at the Teatro alla Scala from 19 September 2026,

with Nadine Sierra as Violetta and Boris Pinkhasovich as Giorgio Germont.

Discover Milan during Fashion Week

Between Corso Venezia, Via Sant'Andrea and Via Montenapoleone, you can feel that it's Fashion Week, with shop windows already displaying the new collections and cafés and bars bustling with activity.

During the day, you are free to explore. From the hotel, you can walk to the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II,

continue on to the Teatro alla Scala or head over to the Brera district with its galleries and small restaurants.

The summer heat is over. Start your morning with an espresso at the bar.

For contemporary art off the beaten track, it's worth visiting the Pirelli HangarBicocca: Anselm Kiefer's Seven Heavenly Palaces.
Those who prefer to stay in the centre will find Villa Necchi Campiglio, known as the setting for House of Gucci, an elegant house museum with a garden that even most Milanese are unaware of.
For an aperitivo during Fashion Week, there's no better place than the MOM Cafè at Viale Monte Nero 51. For dinner, we recommend

Diego Rossi's Trattoria Trippa: no frills, just exceptional Italian cuisine. And if you have some time left, the Isola district north of Porta Garibaldi is Milan's most creative corner.

Your hideaways in Milan

Senato Hotel Milano

An elegant boutique hotel in a historic city palazzo on Via Senato, a quiet street on the edge of Milan's fashion district, just a few steps from Via della Spiga and Via Montenapoleone, the city's most famous luxury shopping streets. From here, you can walk to Piazza del Duomo and La Scala. The tram and metro are just a few minutes' walk away, making it easy to get to the Auditorium di Milano.

The rooms are decorated in light tones, with lots of white and grey, Carrara marble in the bathrooms and a clear, minimalist design.

There is a terrace in the courtyard, and the lounge and bar are meeting places for a glass of wine before the evening programme.

Palazzo Viridis

Palazzo Viridis is located on Corso di Porta Vittoria, a busy street just a few steps away from Piazza Cinque Giornate. For you, this means that trams stop right outside the door, taking you to the Duomo in about ten minutes. The area is not a tourist hotspot, but rather a wonderful slice of everyday Milan with shops, cafés and plenty of city life.

Inside, the hotel features a clean, contemporary design. Many areas are decorated with beautiful plants.

The hotel is ideal for your Fashion Week trip. You'll be centrally located enough to quickly reach the city centre and fashion district, but you'll also have a home away from home that feels like a quiet retreat after busy shows and afternoons of shopping.
