What sounds strange creates a very special atmosphere in this combination. Martynas Levickis takes his audience on a journey through music history – from the Renaissance to the modern era, with works by Scarlatti, Bach, Mozart, Mahler and Glass.
The programme is entitled ‘DA VINCI'S DREAM’ for good reason: Leonardo da Vinci is said to have been working on the idea of a portable organ, an early precursor to the accordion, as early as the 15th century. Whether by coincidence or not, this evening in the Siechenhauskapelle feels like an old dream finally coming true.
As the concert date of 20 March 2026 is already very close, this trip is ideal for last-minute travellers. If you need more time or would like to experience the Siechenhauskapelle in a different setting, the ‘sonntags’ concert ‘Musik im Spiegel der Zeit – Concert spirituel, Flötentöne in Paris’ (Music in the Mirror of Time – Concert spirituel, Flute Tones in Paris) will take place there on 12 April 2026 at 5 p.m.

Neuruppin is Fontane's town.
Your first point of reference is the Fontane House with the Löwen Apotheke, where Theodor Fontane was born; even though the house is now private, it's worth taking a look at the façade and the golden lion. Afterwards, you will almost automatically be drawn towards the water. Lake Ruppin is nearby, and the promenade is ideal for a stroll. And if you feel like following Fontane a little further, take some time the next day for a short Fontane city tour through the alleys.

a building with a lot of atmosphere and a kitchen that serves classic German dishes.
