You start in Versailles. Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Opéra Royal and stay at the Hotel Le Louis. On New Year's Day, you move to the centre of Paris and check into the Hotel d'Angleterre in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. This allows you to experience two facets of this trip:
the palace and park on the one hand, and Parisian city life on the other.
In the morning, Paris is pleasantly quiet. A coffee at the bar, a look in a gallery, a short walk along the Seine. In the evening, bistros and small bars fill the streets. A relaxed start to the new year.
