Ravello Festival 2026 on the Amalfi Coast

The musical highlight

Every summer, the Ravello Festival draws music lovers to the Amalfi Coast, a place that is memorable simply for its setting.

The concerts take place on the Belvedere of Villa Rufolo, an open-air terrace high above the sea. From here, the view stretches far along the coast, whilst the open-air stage provides the festival with its distinctive setting.

The festival will take place from 4 July to 5 September 2026.

The full programme will be added gradually. Here are a few highlights:

• 4 July 2026: Opening concert with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino conducted by Daniele Gatti
• 11 July 2026: L’Orfeo by Claudio Monteverdi in the version by Luciano Berio
• 31 July 2026: Die Walküre in concert version with Kent Nagano
• 11 August 2026: Sunrise concert
• 5 September 2026: Closing concert with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra conducted by Sir Simon Rattle

Discover Ravello

Ravello is perched high above the Amalfi Coast, overlooking Amalfi and Minori.

This is also where the Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium is located. It was designed by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. The building looks quite different from the town’s historic houses. Its light, curved form adds a modern touch.

Villa Cimbrone is also well worth a visit. The historic villa, with its gardens and terraces overlooking the coast, is a wonderful place for a stroll.

Your travel option with a choice of four accommodations

La Moresca***, Ravello

La Moresca is situated in the historic centre of Ravello on Piazza Fontana Moresca, right in the heart of the town.

It is approximately 600 metres to Villa Rufolo. We offer a sea-view room, including breakfast, in a double or single room.

Villa Piedimonte****, Ravello

Villa Piedimonte is just a short walk from the town centre. The hotel is bright and modern in design, with an open, contemporary architectural style. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Villa Rufolo. Your junior suite with sea views, including breakfast, is approximately 24 m² in size and features a living area with a sofa, as well as a terrace or patio.

Palazzo Confalone*****, Ravello

Palazzo Confalone is a historic palazzo in the centre of Ravello, offering sweeping views across the Amalfi Coast. The terraces and the location overlooking the coast lend the house a special elegance. 

It is just under a 5-minute walk from here to Villa Rufolo. The Deluxe Room is approximately 21 m² in size and features a balcony with sea views, including breakfast.

On request, we can arrange a wine tasting featuring a selection of wines for you at Palazzo Confalone. This is particularly fitting, as the hotel is part of Casa Vinicola Ettore Sammarco, a wine producer based on the Amalfi Coast.

Palazzo Pascal*****, Scala

Palazzo Pascal is situated in Minuta, a district of Scala, around 3 kilometres from Ravello. The house is a small historic residence with sweeping views of Ravello, Atrani and the coast.

The journey to Villa Rufolo takes about 10 minutes by car. 

Scala is a good choice if you’d like to combine your evening at the concert in Ravello with a stay away from the main festival hub. We offer the Deluxe Suite with a terrace and sea view, including breakfast, in a double or single room.
