His red trombone has long been his trademark. Nils Landgren is one of Europe's best-known jazz musicians, equally at home in jazz, funk and soul. Every year, the Swedish musician invites fellow artists to join him for his own festival at Schloss Elmau.
On 24 March 2027, his guest will be New York singer Kennedy. With her roots in soul and jazz, she brings her own distinctive energy to the music. Together with Nils Landgren, Ilja Ruf on piano, Lisa Wulff on bass and Robert Ikiz on drums, the evening promises an exciting meeting of American soul and European jazz.
On 25 March, Landgren will be reunited with Viktoria Tolstoy. The Swedish singer and Nils Landgren have worked together for many years. With her expressive voice and a particular gift for ballads, she has long been one of the most respected singers on the European jazz scene.
Both concerts begin at 8.30 pm in the concert hall at Schloss Elmau.

Schloss Elmau sits at an altitude of around 1,000 metres in a secluded Alpine valley between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald. Surrounded by forests and the peaks of the Wetterstein Mountains, the hotel combines an international music programme with exceptional hospitality.

a town known for its long tradition of violin making.

In the evening, getting to the concert could hardly be easier. The concert hall is located within the Hideaway itself.

Double Room Deluxe with Balcony | Hideaway
This spacious 39 m² Deluxe Double Room is located in the west wing of the Hideaway and has its own private balcony.
Furnishings include a large double bed (200 × 210 cm), oak parquet flooring, a hand-knotted Loribaft rug and elegant furniture from Asia and Italy.
The spacious natural stone bathroom features a bathtub, separate shower and a separate toilet.

Junior Suite Deluxe with Balcony | Hideaway
This 42 m² Junior Suite is located in the south or west wing of the Hideaway and has a private balcony overlooking the mountain scenery. The spacious open-plan living and sleeping area features oak parquet flooring, a hand-knotted Loribaft rug and elegant furniture from Asia and Italy. Furnishings include a large double bed (200 × 210 cm), a sofa bed, a desk and comfortable seating.
