Nobel Prize Concert
at the Stockholm Concert Hall on 8 December 2025
The musical highlight
An evening during Nobel Week at the Konserthuset Stockholm: Semyon Bychkov conducts the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The soloist is Spanish violinist María Dueñas. The programme includes ‘Open Ground’ by Victoria Borisova-Ollas, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor and Mussorgsky's ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’ in the orchestral version by Maurice Ravel.

Lunch concerts in the Golden Foyer of the Opera House
Between 1 and 19 December 2025, Christmas lunch concerts will take place on weekdays in the Guldfoajén, the golden foyer of the Royal Opera House.
We highly recommend these mostly short lunch concerts at midday.
Glenn Miller Café
Jazz bands play almost every evening in this tiny cult club. On Mondays, there is occasionally a small series of concerts entitled ‘Classical Mondays’. We can reserve a table for you on the evening of your choice.

Boutique hotel right on the waterfront. From here, you can enjoy views of Nybroviken, a bay in Stockholm city centre, walk to Gamla Stan (Old Town) in just a few minutes, and quickly reach Hötorget (Hay Market) and the Concert Hall.

You can take a leisurely stroll through Norrmalm to the Konserthuset, and it's only a few minutes across the bridges to the Royal Opera and the palace.
