New York big band sound during Advent in Stockholm. Wynton Marsalis will be performing with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Konserthuset Stockholm.
The orchestra is one of today’s leading jazz ensembles. Music by Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Thelonious Monk meets new compositions and arrangements, including works by Wynton Marsalis.
After the concert, you can stay on at the Konserthuset. As part of the Blue House Jazz series, the Konserthuset invites you to a relaxed get-together.

Lucia concert at Storkyrkan:
On the Sunday following the Wynton Marsalis concert, the chamber choir of the Stockholm Music High School will perform at Storkyrkan. The Lucia tradition is an integral part of the Swedish Advent season. The atmosphere is particularly evocative in this historic cathedral in the heart of Gamla Stan.
We will book a ticket for you for the concert at 3.00 pm, before you set off on your return journey.
