The musical highlight
On 10 October 2026, the Usedom Music Festival reaches its climax with Martin Fröst and Roland Pönttinen at St. Peter’s Church in Wolgast.
Martin Fröst is a clarinettist. The New York Times once called him the most virtuosic instrumentalist they could recall.
He plays the classical repertoire, but also pieces written especially for him.
The programme for this evening has not yet been announced. It is already clear, however, that this will be no ordinary concert evening.
Discover Wolgast and Usedom
Wolgast lies directly on the Peenestrom, the waterway between the mainland and the island of Usedom. Between the museum harbour, the castle island, the brick church and the Peene Bridge, you can still sense the old connection between the port town, the ducal seat and the gateway to the island.
The Achterwasser lies on the quieter side of Usedom. There you will find reed beds, small harbours, old fishing villages and quiet bays.
From Wolgast, it is not far to the famous imperial spas of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Bansin.

St. Petri Church is within easy walking distance.
