‘The Four Seasons’ and Venetian gondola songs:
New Year’s Eve concert and ball at the National Forum of Music
The musical highlight
Your New Year’s Eve at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław begins with a concert inspired by Venice.
On 31 December 2026 at 6.00 pm, Avi Avital, soprano Núria Rial and the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra take to the stage together.
Under the title ‘Four Seasons & Songs from Gondola’, the programme combines Antonio Vivaldi’s famous ‘The Four Seasons’ with Venetian gondola songs and an aria from his opera L’Olimpiade.
From 9.00 pm, the New Year’s Eve Ball begins with a gala dinner at the National Forum of Music. Later, the Cracovia Danza Court Ballet performs historic Baroque dances accompanied by members of the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra.
The evening calls for something festive. Guests who wish can also wear a mask inspired by the Venetian Carnival.
Later, the celebrations continue in the Red Hall. DJ PILL, Wrocław-based DJ and music producer Marcin Piłat, takes over the music with tracks from the 1960s through to around the turn of the millennium.
The concert and New Year’s Eve Ball are booked together as one arrangement.
Discover Wrocław
Wrocław was a European Capital of Culture in 2016 and combines a beautifully restored Old Town with a lively cultural and restaurant scene.
A good place to start is the Rynek, the city’s large historic Market Square, with its Gothic Town Hall and colourful townhouses.
From here, the historic centre is easy to explore on foot.
Also worth visiting is the Aula Leopoldina at the University of Wrocław. This 18th-century Baroque ceremonial hall is decorated with frescoes, stucco and sculptures.
For a walk, head to Ostrów Tumski, Wrocław’s historic Cathedral Island. It is particularly atmospheric in the late afternoon, when the lights gradually come on and illuminate the churches and historic façades.

Sarah is located in the District of the Four Denominations, in the historically Jewish part of Wrocław’s Old Town, directly beside the historic White Stork Synagogue. Today, the neighbourhood is one of the liveliest parts of the Old Town.
The cosy restaurant feels charmingly old-fashioned. Dark wooden tables, old cupboards, historic pictures and small lace tablecloths make it feel more like a private dining room than a conventional restaurant.
